Two Holiday Outfits and Dinner Out With A Dear Friend
Dinner at Ridgway Bar & Grill
My husband and I have been going to Tony Ridgway’s Ridgway Bar & Grill in downtown Naples since 1985. At that time we had just begun dating, and the restaurant was two different establishments–one upstairs that was more casual (Truffles), and one downstairs that was more dressy (Chef’s Garden). During the following years the name would change but, just as it was 30 years ago, Tony Ridgway is still there, the atmosphere is still charming, and the food is still delicious. How wonderful when good things stay the same.
In this post and video I take you with me as my husband and I dine there with our good friend *CSG at our annual Christmastime celebration that we began three years ago.
Two Holiday OOTDs
Also in this post and video are two OOTDs I wore recently. One is more casual and the other more dressy. The first features a black dressy top with ivory jeans, black crossbody bag, and black flats.
The more dressy outfit–which I wore to our holiday dinner at Ridgway’s–features the same black dressy top, but with a black, navy and green maxi skirt, black cropped boucle jacket, black silk pumps from the 196os (that were my mother’s), and a black evening bag.

Holiday Dinner at Ridgway Bar & Grill
(ABOVE & BELOW) These are scenes I captured before dinner at Ridgway Bar & Grill. I think the sky looks so pretty to the east. Luckily, the rain began only after we were already back in our cars after dinner.
(ABOVE & BELOW) My husband and I got to Ridgway’s early, so that I could film some of the restaurant before others arrived. We sat in my favorite spot–on the porch overlooking the patio and garden.

I loved this latest video for so many reasons.
I actually wore a plaid taffeta skirt and black cashmere sweater to my husbands work Xmas party and loved the look.. very much like yours.
Also.. the jewelry always gets me. Love that you are wearing your grandmas and your moms ring as well as your mom’s FABULOUS art deco bracelet. Besides the gorgeous bling your memories of them are truly the sweetest part.
