Cotton, Cashmere & Silk Basics
One Casual and Two Dressier Classic OOTDs
Oh my goodness, is fall going by as quickly for you as it feels like it is for me? The last time I looked it was August and Naples was still in its out-of-season slumber. Then, in just the past two weeks our streets have gotten busier and restaurants are beginning to fill up again. This is always a fun time of year, because the energy is so positive. But, I am still wondering how the months whizzed by without me realizing it.
Getting back to this post and video, I am showing three timeless outfits made up of classic basics in cotton, silk, and cashmere. First is the Sweater and Skirt set in Outfit #1. The pieces are sold separately and are available in several different colors. I absolutely love them together, because the outfit is so comfortable and effortless. But, of course, they each look wonderful with other classic pieces in your wardrobe, too.
Outfit #2 is all about casual ease while still looking stylish and put together. I paired a Camel Organic Cotton Cable Sweater and simple White Polo Shirt with a new pair of Kick-Flare Jeans in the color Greyed Out. They are lightly faded only on the front of the thighs, with the seams along the sides purposely kept the same dark grey as the rest of the denim. This creates a thigh-slimming effect that is very flattering.
My final outfit features a pair of Ivory Wide Leg Jeans that look as elegant as trousers. I combined them with a Silk Shirt and Cashmere Cardigan set. These pieces come in several different colors and are also sold separately. Wearing the matching pieces together–especially with two strands of 9-10.5mm Pearls–creates a graceful, timeless outfit that never fails.

Ray-Ban Custom Round Gold Double-Bridge Sunglasses
(ABOVE) I purchased the Ferragamo Small Iconic Top-Handle Bag at our local Ferragamo boutique, Waterside Shops, in March 2024. It features a prominent gold Gancini closure and a detachable shoulder strap. This 2024 version of the bag is a bit more square than the current version, but the two still look quite similar in shape and color. Mine was called Tan/Cuoio. The current version is called Cognac/Testa di Moro.
