New Handbag and Bone China Mugs and Three Timeless Summer Outfits

Ralph Lauren Leather & Straw Tote

In this post and video I am showing several new items I ordered recently.  First is the two-tone tote I have been wanting to find ever since I ruined a tote that looked very similar about 10 years ago.  Most important to me was that my new tote have a top handle.  Other musts were that the trim be cognac leather, the bottom have leather and also metal feet, and the body of the bag be a light color of fabric.

This one from Ralph Lauren has a warm-tone straw fabric, and is detailed with just the right amount of leather to keep it simple and timeless. It also comes with a detachable shoulder strap, which is such a wonderful extra. You can even wear the tote crossbody, if needed.

Another added plus is that Ralph Lauren makes other accessories in the same color of cognac leather (Lauren Tan). I already owned the Slingback Pumps, and I recently bought the Ballet Flats, too.

Leather & Straw Satchel

(ABOVE) This Lauren Ralph Lauren satchel tote measures  14.5″W x 7.5″D x 10.75″H + 5.25″H top handle. It weighs approximately 2 lb.

Note: The dust bag that comes with this tote is navy, and I am afraid it might transfer navy ink onto the fabric of this tote. For that reason, I ordered two dust bags to try out: a Large and an Extra Large. I prefer the XL.  See both below.

Electric Mug Warmer

(ABOVE & BELOW) I have been using this Mug Warmer at my desk for three years.  It allows you to set the temperature and also has a timer, so you can ensure it turns off when you choose. 

Note: According to Aynsley, water temperature for fine bone china should not exceed 80 Centigrade  (176 Fahrenheit).
