SIMPLE TURQUOISE AND WHITE OOTD
Turquoise Peasant Top, White Denim Skirt, White Kitten-Heel Slingbacks, and White Louis Vuitton Bag
This is another simple formula to which I often turn because it’s comfortable and casual but still refined enough that I feel polished and put together: a cute solid or print top with a solid white knee-length (or slightly above-the-knee) skirt and white kitten-heel pumps or white kitten-heel sandals.
In case you are interested, the linen Turquoise Top is available in White, too (I bought both). I love and wear them so much that I had to hold myself back from purchasing the Yellow Top as well. It’s such a timeless, feminine, comfortable option to a tee-shirt and is perfect for hot summer days.
Also, a timeless separate I would not be without is a white knee-length or slightly-above-the-knee skirt. This one happens to be Denim, 20.5″ length (in 18″ here), but any similar cotton skirt would look just as cute and classic, and makes a perfect base for refined spring and summer skirt looks. (Alternatively, you might want to consider this White Eyelet Skirt; it’s so pretty!)
About The Wrinkles
Yes, cotton and especially linen wrinkle easily, but I don’t let that deter me from wearing either. Wrinkling is part of the intrinsic nature of these all-natural, classic fabrics, and this does not bother me at all. It is part of the charm.
The Belt
I also would not be without a White, Stretchy Woven Belt in the summer. It’s such a wonderful accessory to pair with white skirts, white trousers, or white jeans. This one is a woven fabric with white leather trim. It’s a perfect casual belt.

What I Wore
Inside My Handbag
(ABOVE) I ordered this Louis Vuitton New Wave Multi Pochette Bag in January 2021 from Louis Vuitton on line. The white version isn’t on line currently, but you can still find it in black or pink. If you are interested in the white version like mine, you might contact your local Louis Vuitton store and enquire about it. It’s quite small but as you will see down below, I still manage to fit quite a bit inside. The trick is to carry a card holder instead of a wallet and forgo any cosmetic pouches. A small white shoulder/crossbody bag is so versatile for summer. I wear this one a lot. Of course, you don’t have to have this particular handbag. Any quality leather or wicker shoulder bag would work just as well with this outfit, and I’ve listed three below that I think or lovely.

For me Aqua is such a colour for summer , another colour I am loving at the moment is pale lavender.
Your multi coloured stone ring is so pretty I love it., lots of colours to match any summer outfits. I loved the linen top and the aqua suits you , think on the yellow one as that colour can drain a fair delicate complexion.. Pale lemon is more forgiving..
We are having beautiful weather here in Wales , one of those rare summers, it’s normally called ‘Wet Wales’ as
we have so much rain, Wales is very green and lovely scenery. Thing is with all this hot sun everybody’s lawns
are scorched with the sun, not so pretty.. Mine is a sorry sight and the earth so cracked and hard .

I always get great idea outfits from you.. actually bought a gingham skirt from Talbots that is similar to the white skirt in your video along with two matching 3/4 bateau neck tops. Dress it down with slip on sneakers and up with sandals.
Also found my denim shirt dress from the give away pile and rescued it for wear in the fall.. saw that in a previous video of yours.
Your darker than usual lipstick is so pretty too.
Last but not least I have been considering a bag just like the one in your video either from Vuitton or Prada. Not for every day as I carry a lot of stuff but for cruises where all you need to bring to dinner is your room key and lipstick.
