Two Classic Casual Outfits
The Perfect Cotton Pullover
In this post and video I am showing two classic, casual outfits that are easy to wear but are also elegant in their refined styling.
I started with affordable and timeless basics, like Ivory Straight-Leg Jeans and an Ivory Silk Tee in Outfit #1 and White Straight-Leg Jeans and a Blue Linen Shirt in Outfit #2. Then, I topped each ensemble with cozy Organic Cotton Roll-Neck Sweaters in luxuriously soft colors.
To further elevate the looks, I paired them with either kitten heel pumps or gold ballet flats, finished with pearl jewelry and pastel pink or ivory leather crossbody bags.
What I like about these outfits is that they easily can be made more casual by switching out the pumps and metallic ballet flats with sneakers, thong sandals, boat shoes, or flat espadrilles.

(ABOVE & BELOW) I purchased this Chanel Chevron-Quilted, Aged-Calfskin Mini 2.55 Reissue in March 2026 at Fashionphile. It is a small bag, but that is what I wanted so that it can work well with both casual and dressy outfits. (It holds iPhone 11Pro, card holder, chanel mirror in pouch, lipstick, and lip gloss.) The color is off-white, so it pairs beautifully with both ivory and white outfits. The Chanel 2.55 name reflects the date Coco Chanel originally released the 2.55–February 1955. It was considered a revolutionary design at the time, as it was the first shoulder bag created for women. Before the 2.55, women carried bags by the hand.

I wanted to tell you that I purchased the gorgeous maxi dress from J. McLaughlin that you featured in your last video. It’s perfect for a wedding that we are attending in a couple of months. It took a little while to find appropriate shoes, but, I did. The dress fit me to the T! My husband loved it! Thank you for always featuring classic styles that last forever! Your accessories are wonderful! They are always instyle. I have beautiful accessories that are years old, that I continue to wear to this day. I have jewelry that belonged to my mother from the ’60s.
