A Pretty New Tea Set, Tea Accessories, Board Game & Two Handbags
Elegant English Countryside Florals
In this post and video I unbox several items in classic British floral designs that remind me of summer in the English countryside. First is a pretty Tea Set inspired by the formal gardens at Windsor Castle and featuring elegant peony blossoms in soft shades of pink and blue. This collection is by the prestigious British manufacturer of fine bone china tableware, teaware and commemorative gifts Aynsley, founded in Staffordshire, England, in 1775. Along with this tea set I also am showing several accessories I found recently. One is an antique Sterling Silver Overcup Tea Strainer from the 1890s. Rimmed in an ornate floral embossing, this tool is so pretty I was surprised at how well preserved it is. The other is a set of six Mini Cut-Glass Round Bowls, perfect for corralling a variety of small items in elegant style.
And, lastly, more florals spring up–this time it is hollyhocks–on two Handbags and a chess, checkers and dominoes Games Set. All are from the renowned luxury British design house Sanderson, which has an exceptional legacy of more than 165 years.
