Classic Perfumes & Resort Pieces
Happy in Pink
My outfit in this post and video is all about having fun with color. I love pink and I love green–and I really love them together. Of course, you don’t have to wear such a colorful jacket with brightly printed jeans. A white denim jacket or white pullover sweater would look wonderful, in fact.
By the way, if you are not a fan of pink, this jacket is available in Navy, too, and the pants are available in a Navy, Aqua, Green, White Print.
As for footwear, I have worn this outfit with both slingback pumps and with ballet flats (as you will see down below), but classic white canvas sneakers or plimsolls would look very cute, too. If you scroll down the page you will see links to the pink jacket and jeans I am wearing, as well as more pants and jeans similar to mine.

Two New Perfumes
(ABOVE & BELOW) You may recall last fall I reviewed the Quince Eau De Parfum Discovery Set, a collection of eight signature fragrances in 1.7 ml glass vials. It is a wonderful set, and two scents in particular caught my attention, so I ordered them in the 50ml size. Jasmin Nuit is a tropical floral with a little bit of musk perhaps? Clean, fresh, definitely feminine. Cote D’Azur is a clean, fresh, bright floral that is elegant and sophisticated.

The Candle and Flowers Behind Me
(ABOVE & BELOW) About the candle behind me: I rotate between three different Quince scented candles. Sometimes I use English Rose. The scent is very feminine (I would love it as a body lotion!) and it is not overpowering. Cote Marine feels tropical (think pina colada). Lavender Cedar reminds me of a man’s soap; it is very alluring. Priced at $24 each, all three are fresh and clean in character; definitely not heavy. According to the description on line, they are made of high-quality fragrance oil, a premium non-GMO soy wax blend, pure cotton wick, and recyclable glass vessel. Free from lead, parabens, sulfates and phthalates–and cruelty free.
About the pink flowers behind me: I have been looking for a reasonably priced faux-flower arrangement for months and finally found this cute one at Amazon. On line it is listed as Pink Roses, but it also reminds me of peonies.
