The after-Memorial Day sales are still going on, so if you are in need of (or want for) any summer items, it’s a good time to explore your favorite stores.

This J. Crew shirt is a combination of linen and cotton, which gives it a lovely nubby texture, and keeps me cool at the same time. I’m showing it here with coral and black accents, but it also would look pretty with navy, bright pink, or khaki.

It comes in a variety of colors (including coral), but this emerald green was my favorite. It also happens to be the color most deeply discounted right now. (Too bad I already bought it!)

I got the shorts several months ago at Ann Taylor, and they also are now on sale. If you like a slimmer but not too-slim leg, these are a great option.

P.S. I’m experimenting with different organic oils and, unfortunately, I used much too much on the lower two-thirds of my hair yet again!

(ABOVE AND BELOW)) On my lips I’m wearing a base of Nourish Organic Shea Butter with a swipe of 100 Percent Pure Fruit Pigmented Lipstick on top, in the color Hibiscus.
