BLACK JEGGINGS OOTD, LOUIS VUITTON BAG & KEY POUCH, PLUS A ROSE GOLD MAKEUP PALETTE
My Jeggings Outfit
When I wore this outfit, the day began in the 60s Fahrenheit and rose to the mid-70s, so I was glad my shirt was sleeveless and my sweater was made of cotton, not wool. I’ve had the Brooks Brothers Sleeveless Dress Shirt for years and wear it a lot, because it provides a light layer without adding any bulk (or too much warmth) in the arms. It’s perfect for our changeable fall and winter weather–and especially our very hot summers. I also have the Brooks Brothers White Ruffle-Collar Sleeveless Blouse. In fact, I love it so much I have two of them, so if one is in the laundry the other one is available to wear. Both styles of shirt are so popular, Brooks Brothers brings them back every year.
The Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette Accessoires & What’s Inside
The set of bags I’m carrying is a new design from Louis Vuitton called the Multi Pochette Accessoires. It consists of two small pouches and a round coin purse with your choice of either a pastel-pink or khaki-green web strap, plus a short chain strap. I have the pink strap, however on this day I decided to wear the bags with a monogram strap that I’ve had for years.
I pre-ordered the Multi Pochette last August after seeing an article about it on line, and I’m glad that I did. By the time it launched in stores on September 27, 2019, it was sold out (plus the price had been raised), and there is now a waiting list for it. If you are interested in purchasing the bag, you can put it on your wish list on line at Louis Vuitton and also ask your client advisor to put you on the waiting list at their store. Alternatively, it is available for immediate purchase at Fashionphile (a partner of Neiman Marcus), although at a higher price since it is in such demand. (Both new and pre-loved items are offered there.)
Buying Pre-Loved at Fashiophile
I purchased a pre-loved Louis Vuitton Monogram Key Pouch from Fashionphile and use it to carry credit cards and cash in small bags like the Multi Pochette. I’ve been trying to buy it at Louis Vuitton for two years, with no success. The monogram version never seems to be available whenever I check either on line, or with customer service at the 1-800 number, or with either of my client advisors at two separate Louis Vuitton stores (one in Naples and one in Chicago). So, when I saw this one I nabbed it.
I show my Key Pouch below, and it is in such pristine condition it looks brand new. I was able to save about $50 by buying it through Fashionphile, because it was missing the key chain. That was fine with me, since I already own the Key Pouch with a key chain in the Ebene pattern. I purchased the Monogram Key Pouch specifically for credit cards and cash.
One great thing about shopping through Fashionphile is that I don’t pay sales tax in my state, which gives me an added savings. On large purchases, that really ads up. I purchased a handbag there recently, which I’ll be showing in a future post, and not having to pay the sales tax made a considerable difference in the price. Another plus is that shipping is free, and once I receive my item, I have 30 days to decide whether I want to keep it. If I decide not to, I also receive free shipping back to Fashionphile.
Something Pretty I Found
Oh, and before I forget, I mentioned a cardigan in my last post that I thought was so pretty. Well, I decided to order it and it just arrived. It’s the Stitched Ann Cardigan with Pearl Buttons in pastel pink from Ann Taylor, and I love it! It’s very feminine, and the colors combine a soft mauve pastel-pink trim with a heathered peachy-pink body, and delicate pearl buttoms. It’s currently available in all sizes, if you’re interested.
Using Clean, All-Natural Products on My Skin
In today’s post I’m again wearing eyeshadows from the Rose Gold Palette sent to me by 100% Pure. In my last post I created a bit more dramatic eye by also using a black eyeliner, but for this day look I used just the three eyeshadows.
I’ve been buying makeup from 100% Pure for about five years, because I only use clean, natural products on my skin. (Our skin absorbs between 60 and 100 percent of what we put on it.) All 100% Pure cosmetics are cruelty free and are naturally pigmented from fruit, vegetables, tea, and cocoa.
For details on the rest of the makeup I’m wearing here, including where I placed the shadows on my eyes and the makeup brushes I used, scroll down to What I Wore/My Makeup Brushes & Makeup.
Thank you, as always, for taking the time to visit my blog and read my post. I hope you enjoy the video.

Scenes From The Video
(ABOVE & BELOW) I pre-ordered the Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette Accessoires this past August, and it was sold out (plus the price had increased) by the time it appeared in stores September 27, 2019. There is a waiting list for this bag at Louis Vuitton, so if you are interested in it ask your client advisor to put you on their list. It also is available for immediate purchase at Fashionphile, although it is at higher price there since it is in such demand.
As for my belt, I have it in several colors. It’s made of an elasticized woven canvas, with leather trim, and because there are no pre-determined holes, it always fits, whether I’m wearing it with low- or high-waist bottoms.
(ABOVE & BELOW) Louis Vuitton Key Pouch, purchased pre-loved at Fashionphile. I use this for carrying credit cards and cash in small handbags.
My adjustable pearl and gold bracelet is from David Yurman.

Because the Louis Vuitton items above are so popular, they often are not available on line, in stores, or through customer service at their 1-800 number. However, you can find (new and/or pre-loved) Multi Pochette Accessoires, Shoulder Straps, Key Pouches, and Mini Pochettes at Fashionphile, a partner of Neiman Marcus.

Hi, Libby! You can purchase them separately at Louis Vuitton if you want a brand new one. Mine is from a Louis Vuitton bag purchased in 2006 at Louis Vuitton, Naples. Hope that answers your question. 🙂 ~ Janis
Hey Janice!
I’m Claudia from Long Island, New York. Just wanted to tell you I think you are awesome!! I love your videos.. love your style.
I also love your “embrace the grey” hair. I’m 57 and still dutifully dyeing it brown every 3 weeks. I wish I had the courage to make the leap to grey.. looks fabulous on you.
Saw that you grew up in Pittsburgh.. two of our daughters went to Pitt and our youngest is in Med school there now.
We LOVE Pittsburgh.. what a lovely city.
I am a travel writer and I have a travel blog. I plan to include more fashion in my next one.. inspired by you.
Thanks for posting your videos.. I do truly look forward to them. 🙂
Hi, Claudia! Thank you so much for taking the time to not only watching my video but also leave your comment here. I so appreciate it. Oh my gosh, Pittsburgh IS such a great city. We moved there in the summer of 1970, when I was 10 (in fact, we celebrated my birthday at the hotel where we stayed when we first arrived). How neat that all of your children went to college there. I ended up spending my last 2.5 years of college back home in Pittsburgh, graduating from Chatham. I am so happy for you that you are going to include more fashion on your travel blog. Thank you for saying you were inspired by me. That is so kind! What is the name of your travel blog? I’m sure other readers here would love to know, too, so they can pop over there and have a look. ~ Janis
Hi Janice!
Thanks for your sweet note back. It’s always nice to chat up how marvelous Pittsburgh truly is.
Primantis.. Duquesne Incline.. Phipps.. and the genuine warmth of the people make the city so unique.
As I said before I just love your blog.. love your style. Youthful but not too young.. a perfect mix of every day and fancy.
We visited Naples last year and thought it was awesome.. what a beautiful and charming town. Shopped at Waterside and walked along your main street in downtown too. I actually wrote an article about it.. I also gratis write travel articles for a local magazine here.

It’s the 4th from the top.
My favorite travel topic to write about is when we come home from a cruise. On a separate platform I create a travel blog about our experiences with tons of pix and now will include more fashion thanks to you! Not only do I think it’s super helpful to others but also so fun to relive the week thru the blog.
Here is the link to my most recent one from a cruise last October.

Thanks for giving me the chance to share the smiles. Are you a traveler?
Claudia, I’m so glad you enjoyed Naples. It really is a wonderful place to visit and live. Also, thank you for sending the links. Your travel blog is so fun to view. I loved your black, sleeveless wrap dress in one of the shots. Even though you got no sleep on the 6-hour flight, you looked wonderful! As for if I’m a traveler, I have to say I’m not. I’m a total homebody. I loved to travel when I was in my 20s and younger, but as I’ve gotten older I crave home. That being said, I love, love listening to stories told by family and friends of their trips and live vicariously through them (without having to get in planes, trains, and automobiles to get there!). ~ Janis
So sorry.. just realized you are Janis.. not Janice!
Hi Janis.. just want to compliment you in every way! always surprising us with new ideas of how to put outfits together.
Absolutely adored this smart casual comfortable looking outfit. You always look super chic.
I am now realizing more & more that the more natural the look the more beautiful it looks.
Thank you for sharing ???
Hi again Janis!
How sweet you are.. thank you for taking the time to read my article and blog and for the kind and complimentary words.
The black dress you refer to is from LL Bean which has become my new favorite place for summer poplin dresses. The sandals are actually from Talbots which is one of your faves!
Yes.. Naples was a wonderful trip. We really just buzzed in and out for 2 days but truly felt like it was a delightfully calm and relaxed version of the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area that we had just left.
I love to travel and I’m so fortunate that my husband gets plenty of vacation weeks and is happy to go.
Just like you I also do love to be in my home and enjoy the tranquility.
Coming up soon is a Viking River cruise on the Danube.. very excited for that.
I think the new LV Multi Pochette that you highlighted is such an intriguing piece, Could be a perfect travel bag. I see that it’s sold out currently in the pink in the USA but maybe it will be available in Europe next month.
I will be looking for your next vlog.. they always make me smile and give me fun and interesting ideas to think about.
Thanks again for sharing.
Have a wonderful day!
