FEATURED: Vineyard Vines, Naples, Florida, at Waterside Shops

Monday, May 2, 2016 / Vlog Post Notes:

I am an introvert, so the last thing in the world I am comfortable doing is approaching not just one but two complete strangers to ask if they will let me get a video of us together. But, that’s exactly what I did when I had the opportunity to meet the founders of Vineyard Vines, Shep and Ian Murray.   Last month, they held a party to celebrate the opening of their Naples store at Waterside Shops, so as nerve-wracking as it was, I asked to be introduced. (It’s amazing what I will do if it involves something classic.  I love preppy clothing!)  That video clip, as well as much more, is in today’s vlog.

Vineyard Vines began back in 1998, when the two brothers–who grew up in Connecticut and vacationed on Martha’s Vineyard as boys–quit their Manhattan desk jobs to begin selling fun and colorful men’s ties. Today, their classic preppy brand offers a full line of mens, womens, and childrens apparel in stores across the U.S.

I hope you enjoy coming along to the party.

Cheers! ~Janis Lyn Johnson

(ABOVE) My necklace is from Vineyard Vines.  On my lips I’m wearing Gabriel lipstick in the color Clay.   On top I added a swipe of Aubrey Organics lipgloss in Blush Pearl for a slight shine.
