Here in Florida, it’s still too warm for my wool navy blazer, so I’m wearing my linen one, with a monogrammed white shirt.

Oxford-cloth tops are so soft and comfortable–and breathable–that I find myself returning to this embroidered one time and again all year.

The cropped, rolled-up chinos are a new style for me.  They don’t do much for lengthening the leg, since they are a looser fit in the thigh and calf, but I like the look nonetheless.

Along with the leather and mixed-metal necklace, and wearing my bag crossbody, they’re a fun way to dress down my blazer (as is pushing up the blazer sleeves). ~Janis Lyn Johnson
