This outfit was in preparation for the rain we were supposed to have, sometime early that evening (I was headed to a casual dinner with friends). But as is often the case, because I was prepared for rain–with a purse-size umbrella and wellies–there was no rain.
Ultimately, I changed into a pair of navy leather flats I’d tossed into my car.
