(ABOVE) I’ve had this Ralph Lauren blackwatch plaid bag for nearly 20 years.  It’s a year-round staple in my wardrobe.

I love pointy-toe kitten heels for when I want dressier shoes but still a good amount of comfort.  Granted, I wouldn’t want to spend the entire day walking in them, but they are a terrific compromise.  These are a patent-leather in a dark navy color, which is not always easy to find.  I got them at Talbots several years ago, and have a similar pair in flats, too.  The color, Indigo Blue, is a standard with them, which is nice since I can always count on finding the color there.  ~Janis Lyn Johnson

  1. Hi Janice..you looked so pretty in this outfit. Do you still model? You sure have the figure and poise for it, so classy! Look forward to your next video.

    • Hi, Joann–and thank you! Gosh…modeling…I haven’t done it since my mid-30s, so that makes 20 years. But even back then I only did it part-time, on a local level. Definitely wasn’t a “real” model, if you know what I mean. I didn’t and still don’t know how to do the model “walk”! It sure was fun though! Thank you again so much for commenting. ~Janis
