(ABOVE) Just because it’s December, doesn’t mean my outerwear has to be drab or dreary.  I’m going for neon pink!

This vest isn’t something I would typically wear yet (it’s in the low 80s).  Still, I wanted to show it to all of you, since I’ve had it for about two months, and I’m eager to give it a go.  I ordered two others vests before this one, but I returned them because they were just too puffy for my liking.  This pink one was the charm, because it’s slim fitting–and adds warmth, not bulk.  Perfect for winter in southern climates.

Now for some cooler weather. ~Janis Lyn Johnson

(ABOVE) I prefer to wear sheer liners (or footies) to protect my feet when I wear pumps, ballet flats, moccasins, or loafers.  However, I have had little luck finding a pair that don’t end up showing.  As you can see here (ABOVE), these almost work, but not quite–and they were supposedly the “no-show” kind.  If you all have any recommendations, I would love to hear them.  Please leave them in the comments section below.
