A Brick and Slate Georgian In Greenwich, Connecticut

This stately house is located in a gated community on four acres in Greenwich, Connecticut.  It was listed last February 2015 with Sotheby’s International Realty, but is no longer on the market.  Lucky for us, it is still on YouTube–where I discovered it this weekend.

I love its ivy-cloaked walls, rooftop cupola, and rich interior architectural detailing. The huge kitchen is gorgeous–as is the master dressing area.

I’ve included several screen shots here, but the video (scroll below) offers a much better look at the entire 8,700-square-foot house, guest house, and grounds. ~Janis Lyn Johnson

You came up with the perfect words to describe it for me as well, Gail: Soothing and peaceful. Thank you for commenting!
