(ABOVE) The weather has been in the mid to upper 70s, so I’m sticking with my go-to basics of skinny jeans and a button up for casual days.

Simple, Casual Jeans Outfit

Hi, everyone!

The day I filmed this, I had a lot of errands to run, and the temperature was in the mid-70s, so I kept my outfit simple and comfortable. (Our warm temperatures continue!)

These are the new skinny jeans I bought a few months ago, and I love the cropped length. I think that showing the narrowest part of my calf helps to elongate my legs and give the jeans a more feminine look–especially when worn with sandals that show a lot of skin.

I can’t believe it’s almost February!

P.S. My video and photographs were captured at Waterside Shops and California Pizza Kitchen, where I had lunch with my friend Gail.

(ABOVE & BELOW) On my lips: Hemp Organics Rose Petal Lipstick and Rose Lip Tint .

Although I’m wearing powder foundation, blush and the two lip colors, I’m not wearing mascara or eye shadow. This is a typical makeup look for me during casual days out with my husband or girlfriends.

(BELOW) The bag organizer I placed in my Longchamp tote to give it shape and provide organization. (Available in many colors.)

  1. I’m new to your social media channels and I just love everything you do. My taste is very similar to yours so it is a real pleasure to see all your fashion blogs. I have a question about your hair. Mine is very much like yours with the silver/white/gray and long and straight. Do you use anything to brighten those shades? Just curious about your hair routine. I apologize in advance if you have already covered this subject. If that’s the case please let me know. I’m a bit older than you (64) and I grew up in Hawaii and So Cal so I also have a deep love of water.

    • Hi, Sue! Thank you so much! I did cover this subject in my blog a few months ago, and I’m sorry my site isn’t as easy to find things as I would like. The internet still has me baffled!!! 🙂 Here’s the post: I hope that helps to answer your question. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog — and to leave your question! Cheers ~ Janis

I definitely will be putting together a second Q&A video. I’m so happy to know you’d welcome seeing another one! Thank you for letting me know! ~ Janis

    • Hi, Julian! I had so much fun visiting these YouTube channels. It’s interesting to know what people think my voice sounds like, so listening to another YouTube person who you say I sound like is fun! Now I know! Thank you for sharing the links! Cheers to you! ~ Janis
